In September 2008, Texas MasterCraft owner Jimmy Harvell stood on the shore of Lake Eola in downtown Orlando watching a pair of Sesitec’s System 2.0 straight-line cables pull two dozen of the world’s best riders through the most elaborate setup wakeboarding had ever seen at the first Red Bull Wake Lab event. “I watched for about 15 minutes, then I bought one,” Harvell says. This spring, Texas MasterCraft became the first boat dealership in the world to feature a System 2.0 park. Since then, Harvell has added more than a quarter-million dollars worth of improvements to the park, including a white-sand beach, a start dock and a pair of high-tech obstacles designed by master rail builder Pat Panakos and The Wake Park Project. Hundreds of riders, from Scott Byerly to Texas locals, have sessioned the park since it opened, and in May, the one-of-a-kind setup got the stamp of approval from dozens of pro riders when Texas MasterCraft hosted the first stop of the 2009 Pro Wakeboard Tour.

Club Wake Park is located at Grendon Lakes in Northampton and opened in May 2011. It is owned and run by Toby Oliver in partnership with Grendon Lakes. They operate with one System 2.0 which is 210m long and is the longest in the UK. The System 2.0 towers are over 10m high and make the wake park very good for air tricks. Club Wake Park make their own obstacles and to date have a roof top, double kicker and flat bar.

The "Blaue Lagune" (=Blue Lagoon) originally isn't a Sesitec cable. But it was one of the first parks Sesitec worked at. Sesitec has done a lot of building conversions at the end of the 1990's. Sesitec founder Christian von Lerchenfeld ran this wakepark from 1994 until 2008, bringing a lot of experience of the everyday cable business into his company. In this time he changed and rebuilt many parts of the cableway that was created in the seventies. In 2005 Sesitec built the second Full Size Cable there. With only four carriers it is one of the shortest in the world. The park was known for revolutionary rails that Sesitec has built at that time. A lot of wakeboard talents grew up at those two cables in the beautiful region of the Allgäu, of which a few are employed at Sesitec today.
